Consultant

My role with the Southern Food and Beverage Museum involves advising on the integration of dynamic performances, oral histories, and immersive elements. We are working to create an educational and memorable experience for visitors, celebrating the rich heritage of Southern cuisine and its impact on culture.

Judge + Mentor

As a judge for the poetry, performance, and creative writing categories at NAACP ACT-SO New Orleans, I have the privilege of evaluating the talents of African-American high school students in these areas. I assess participants' creativity, skill, and expression, contributing to recognizing and encouraging their achievements.

Vice-Chair Elect

As Vice-Chair Elect of the Performance Studies Division at the Southern States Communication Association, I contribute to divisional leadership by supporting programming, mentoring scholars, and helping shape conference spaces that reflect the interdisciplinary and creative nature of Performance Studies. This role allows me to engage regional scholars in conversations that center performance, cultural inquiry, and collaborative knowledge-making. I will oversee and plan the 2027 Performance Studies Division conference programming and events.
