Xavier Archives
This is the version of the class I taught Fall 2024 with a focus on XULA Archives.
The primary objective of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive exploration of Xavier's digital archives, focusing specifically on materials that highlight the Black diaspora. By analyzing texts, documents, photographs, and other archival materials, students will gain insight into the complex and nuanced ways in which Black intellectuals have shaped discourse, challenged paradigms, and contributed to various fields of knowledge.
